Festival Rules and Guidelines

To ensure a safe and enjoyable music festival experience for all, please note that the following are NOT permitted:

  • No firearms, knives, or weapons of any kind
  • No fireworks/explosives/laser pointers
  • No metal utensils or misc. sharp objects
  • No illegal substances (no drugs of any kind)
  • No cannabis, with or without medical card
  • No alcohol (alcohol will be sold at the festival)
  • No unauthorized vendors – see our concert vendor application information here to apply.
  • No outside food or beverage allowed (food & beverage will be sold at the festival)
  • No glass or metal containers (including aluminum cans)
  • No picnic baskets, coolers, large bags or containers
  • No tarps/tents or tables
  • No portable grills
  • No inflatable furniture of any kind
  • No umbrellas or high back chairs. (Chairs must be 32″ or lower)
  • No footstools or footrests
  • No strollers
  • No filming on still cameras or video equipment. Video recording is prohibited.
  • No skateboards/scooters/wagons/motorized vehicles
  • No bicycles inside the music festival grounds
  • No flags, stickers, flyers
  • No smoking inside the event. No e-cigarettes or vaporizers permitted
  • No pets (except service dogs with proper paperwork)
  • No professional cameras and/or equipment (no large, long, zoom, detachable lenses or tripods)

The following items ARE allowed during the music festival:

  • Low back beach/sand chairs (General admission area); limit one per person
  • Re-entry to the concert grounds is only permitted with wristband securely affixed to your wrist. No ripped, torn, or stretched wristbands permitted.
  • Sunscreen, insect repellant
  • Mobile phones (remember to share on Facebook and tweet while you’re at the festival)
  • Binoculars
  • Fanny packs
  • Personal hand-held cameras (i.e. small digital or point-and-click cameras; no long/large/zoom/detachable lenses; no tripods; no pro cameras)

Please note all personal belongings will be searched upon entry into the event. Please adhere to these rules so that others will not be delayed during the entrance process. Thank you in advance.

Photo Policy:

Upon entry of the Los Angeles Soul Music Festival, you understand that you may be filmed, photographed or videotaped and you commission Airborne Tickets LLC the right to take pictures and/or recordings of you and grant the perennial right to make use of your image and likeness without any form of compensation for broadcast or presentation in any medium existing or not yet developed.

Festival Policies & Terms

Ticket Policy – Strictly Enforced:

All concert ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges

The Los Angeles Soul Music festival is a “Rain or Shine” event, so prepare accordingly.

Lost or stolen concert tickets will not be replaced.

All acts advertised have confirmed their music festival appearance; however acts and times are subject to change without notice.

Additional Terms:

YOU ASSUME ALL RISK AND DANGER INCIDENTAL TO THE EVENT AND YOU AGREE THAT THE LOS ANGELES SOUL MUSIC FESTIVAL, AIRBORNE TICKETS LLC, EXPOSITION PARK, THE CITY & COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, THEIR AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, VENDORS AND THE PERFORMERS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES RESULTING FROM SUCH CAUSES. NO TRANSMISSION OR AIDING IN TRANSMITTING ANY DESCRIPTION, ACCOUNT, PICTURE, OR REPRODUCTION OF THE EVENT, GAME, PERFORMANCE, OR EXHIBITION IS ALLOWED.

YOU HEREBY CONSENT TO THE REASONABLE SEARCH FOR ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, DRUGS, OR WEAPONS.

YOU FURTHER CONSENT TO THE USE OF YOUR IMAGE OR LIKENESS INCIDENTAL TO ANY DISPLAY, TRANSMISSION, OR REPRODUCTION OF THE EVENT.

MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ADMISSION OR EJECT ANY PERSON WHOSE CONDUCT IS DEEMED BY MANAGEMENT TO BE DISORDERLY OR WHO FAILS TO COMPLY WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS HEREIN.
